Kilmarnock Rugby Football Club Part Time Community Coach Salary: £8.77p/h (22 hours per week)Contract period: 10 months Kilmarnock RFC seeks to appoint a committed community coach to work with them to drive the aims of our local rugby development plan and in turn contribute to the SRU’s targets for growing the game.
You will have experience of both sports development & coaching within a rugby environment, as well as a relevant academic qualification and a full, valid driving licence.
You will deliver on behalf of the club and its partners to maintain a thriving development structure within Kilmarnock Rugby Football Club that ensures the club is vibrant and at the centre of sustainable rugby development in Kilmarnock and the northern part of East Ayrshire. Working in partnership with the Council’s Rugby Development Officer you will report to a management group consisting of representatives from each of the partner’s.
Key Accountabilities - Increase playing participation in ‘Kilmarnock Rugby’ across all age groups.
- Support the implementation of club development plan.
- Work in partnership with a range of agencies to raise the profile of rugby in the local community.
- Deliver high quality coaching sessions to club and associated cluster schools and community groups.
- Assist with recruitment, retention and development of all club volunteers.
